Vilnius "Wolves Twinsbet" forward Danielis Baslykas will be out for at least three months after suffering an injury during the Citadele KMT quarterfinal game against Jonava "CBet."
Midway through the final quarter, Baslykas committed a foul while attempting to stop an opponent. Following the contact, he immediately felt pain in his shoulder and headed to the locker room, unable to continue playing.
Medical examinations revealed a shoulder joint dislocation which requires surgery. It will be performed next week. The rehabilitation process after it is expected to take 3-5 months.
This season in the Betsafe-LKL, the 23-year-old appeared in 8 games, averaging 1.4 points per game.
In the EuroCup, he played 5 games, averaging 3 points and 5 efficiency rating.
