Winner of four Lithuanian National Silver Crane Awards, E. Vėlyvis became famous after releasing the film "Zero", which also attracted international attention. The other two parts of this film and the tape "Redirected", in which one of the main roles was played by the famous British and Hollywood actor Vinnie Jones, became even more popular.

Having made his name famous because of the genre of black comedies, the director later demonstrated his talent in detective and fantasy genres.

E. Vėlyvis is sure that the movie set and basketball court have many similarities, so the director who joined the group of ambassadors will use his creativity to contribute to the club's goals.

"Movie set and basketball court are very similar – in both everyone must be extremely accurate and precise. A lot is determined by teamwork, personal talent and uniqueness of each team member. I am very excited to be joining an innovative and ambitious organization that already has a group of faces that I know very well. With some we have met on the movie set more than once, so I know how talented people are coming together to contribute to the club's goals," said E. Vėlyvis.
