Vilnius Wolves Twinsbet (2-1) triumphed on the road in the Lithuanian Basketball League (Betsafe-LKL), defeating Mažeikiai M Basket-Delamode (0-3) 95:86 (25:26, 25:26, 24:13, 21:21).

Thanks to Giedrius Staniulis and Kay Bruhnke, Mažeikiai got off to a better start (9:4). However, the Wolves quickly made a run to close the gap to 10:9. Anthony Cowan and A.J. English traded three-pointers as the battle remained tight.

Andrew Andrews led the Vilnius team forward, giving them a slight advantage (40:34), but the hosts fought back. After a long-range shot from A.J. English, Mažeikiai regained the lead at 47:46.

After the break, the game scenario repeated itself and Wolves Twinsbet's attempts to break the game were repelled. G. Staniulis and Šarūnas Valunta gave Mažeikiai a 5-point lead (64:59), but A. Cowan and Andrew Andrews changed the game's course - 70:65.

After three quarters, the Vilnius team was already ahead by 9 points (74:65), and Jeffery Taylor and Matas Jogėla brought their team closer to victory - 81:70. In the end, the initiative went to the Vilnius team, who finished the game calmly.

A. Andrews was the top scorer for Wolves Twinsbet with 26 points, but he was only one point behind M.Jogėla in efficiency, who scored 15 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and had 26 efficiency points.
