BC Wolves say goodbye to Egidijus Mockevičius after contract expiry

The BC Wolves have parted ways with center Egidijus Mockevičius after his short-term contract with the Vilnius-based club expired.

E. Mockevičius played for the Wolves during their preseason training and boosted the team's frontline in their friendly matches.

In the Betsafe-LKL tournament, E. Mockevičius played four games with the Wolves and averaged 9.5 points and 6.8 rebounds.

In the BKT EuroCup, the center notched 6 points and 3.7 rebounds in three games played.

"Thanks to Egidijus for helping us at the start of the season. I think it was also good for him to play with us, to get some playing time. We are waiting for Djordje (Gagic) to return from injury. We have not withdrawn from the player market, we are monitoring it like the other clubs," said the Wolves' sports director Donatas Zavackas.

The BC Wolves thanks Egidijus Mockevičius for his work and contribution to the team's victories and wishes him success in his future career.
