BC Wolves sign American center Garrison Brooks to club roster

The BC Wolves is further strengthening the team's frontline and has recently announced the signing of 24-year-old center Garrison Brooks. He will be playing for the Vilnius-based club until the end of this season.

The American slot man, who can also play as a power forward, spent his first professional season last year with the Westchester Knicks of the NBA G League. He averaged 13.6 points, 11.6 rebounds (9th in the league), and 2.6 assists, logging 30.5 minutes on the court in 37 games played.

This summer, the 6'9" center played in the NBA Summer League and averaged 6.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 17.6 minutes of action per game for the New Orleans Pelicans.

G. Brooks attended and played basketball at the University of North Carolina for four years. In his junior season, he was selected to the Second Team All-ACC (Atlantic Coast Conference) and was named Most Improved Player.

He later took advantage of the opportunity to transfer to Mississippi State University for his final season of eligibility.

G. Brooks started this season in the South Korean Basketball League, but he did not stay long with Wonju DB Promy.

The latest addition to the Wolves line-up is expected to arrive in Lithuania very soon to join the team.
