Forward J. Marcinkevičius joins Wolves Twinsbet

Forward Justinas Marcinkevičius has joined the front line of Vilnius Wolves Twinsbet. The 26-year-old has signed a contract until the end of the season.

The 202 cm Kaunas-born player has been practicing with the team since the start of the pre-season and has also appeared in three exhibition games.

"We are really happy to have Justinas joining the team. We appreciated the effort and desire to be part of this group that he showed from the first day of training camp. He will be a great addition to our roster, helping to elevate the level of practice and be ready to play, thanks to his will, aggressiveness, and energy," Head Coach Alessandro Magro said about the newest addition.

For the last couple of years, Marcinkevičius has been wearing the jersey of Nevėžis-Optibet in Kėdainiai. Last season, he averaged 4.5 points and 2.5 rebounds in 15.5 minutes per game.

Before this stage of his career, he spent four years at Barry University in the USA, playing in NCAA Division II. He was selected to the Sunshine State Conference's second team in the 2020-2021 season.

He also represented Lithuania at the 2016 European U-18 Youth Championship in Turkey, where he won a silver medal.

Marcinkevičius is set to make his official debut for Wolves Twinsbet in the BKT EuroCup against Bahçeşehir Istanbul (Turkey) on Wednesday, 25th September.
