Uniclub Bet – Juventus Utena (3-2) emerged victorious, taking home a win from the capital city. Vytautas Buzas' squad defeated Wolves Twinsbet Vilnius (2-3) on the road with a score of 72:67 (15:18, 20:16, 23:19, 14:14), securing their second consecutive victory.
Both teams went toe-to-toe at the start, and only a three-point foul drawn by Andrew Andrews, followed by three made free throws, allowed the home team to hold a narrow lead after ten minutes - 18:15. In the second quarter, Utena pulled ahead (32:26), but by halftime, they led by just a single point - 35:34.
The game on the court remained unchanged after the break, with the visitors maintaining a slight advantage. Despite committing ten fouls in the third quarter, Utena entered the final period with a 5-point cushion - 58:53. With 3 minutes left, Utena extended their lead to 69:61.
However, Tre'Shawn Thurman and Garrison Brooks revived the Wolves' hopes just before the final minute (67:70). Both teams then exchanged unsuccessful offensive possessions. Ian Miller burned through a lot of time but missed a three-pointer. On the other end, Wolves Twinsbet also missed two their long-range shots, while Laurynas Beliauskas sealed the victory for Utena with two free throws.
Thurman's leadership wasn't enough for the Wolves. He finished with 18 points and a performance index rating of 20.
Utena played without Karolis Lukošiūnas, who wasn’t registered for the game, while the Wolves still missed the injured Arnoldas Kulboka.
