Winners of the poster drawing contest attended the Wolves Twinsbet practice

In preparation for the Citadele King Mindaugas Cup (Citadele KMT) Final Four, the Wolves Twinsbet Vilnius received some cheerful and well-spirited guests at the end of their Tuesday training session – students from Vilnius Žėrutis Primary School.

Over 40 third and fourth graders visited the Twinsbet arena and spent a fun afternoon in the Wolves gaming space, specifically designed for children and youth. The students enjoyed playing video games, foosball, and testing their accuracy on basketball machines. Later, they had the chance to demonstrate their knowledge and win prizes in the Wolves Twinsbet team’s Kahoot quiz.

The visit culminated in watching the team’s training session, taking a group photo, taking selfies, and chatting with the players.

“We are from Vilnius Žėrutis Primary School. We came to meet the Wolves' players. It was a big dream for us. Our children love sports and are very active. We are the champions of the Vilnius City School Games and are currently competing in the Lithuanian School Games. For each of them, meeting the basketball players will increase their motivation to achieve high sporting results,” said teacher Vitalija Lučunienė, who accompanied the children to the arena.

This visit to the training session was the main prize for the poster drawing contest, which took place in December and was dedicated to the young team’s supporters.

The contest involved children from 9 primary schools in the capital, who submitted more than 15 impressive and creative artworks.

The Wolves Twinsbet club, actively collaborating with educational institutions in Vilnius city and district, plans to organize more contests and projects in the future aimed at increasing children’s interest in basketball, promoting an active lifestyle, and encouraging sports participation.
