Wolves Twinsbet have announced Vitalijs Kozys will be leaving the Lithuanian capital's club after the end of his contract. V.Kozys spent two years with the Vilnius team and will now continue his career with Nevėžis-Optibet of Kėdainiai.
The 25-year-old forward born in Kretinga, Klaipėda joined the Wolves in 2022 and played for 65 games in different tournaments across two seasons.
In the recently concluded Betsafe-LKL championship, he averaged 3.5 points and 2.3 rebounds per game.
Playing in his European Cup (BKT-Eurocup) tournament debut, he logged 2.1 points and 1.6 rebounds per outing.
Kozys played his best game against BC Pieno žvaigždės of Pasvalys in February 2024, when he scored 13 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, and notched 21 EFF in 19 minutes of action.
