Wolves Twinsbet lose Kariniauskas for an extended period

Wolves Twinsbet Vilnius has lost another player due to injury. Vaidas Kariniauskas will undergo arthroscopic knee surgery at the end of March, sidelining him for seven weeks.

The guard had been experiencing persistent pain in his right knee, forcing him to miss several games and try various conservative treatments, but those only provided short-term relief.

Following medical examinations, the decision was made not to delay the surgery any further. Kariniauskas is expected to return to the court by the end of May.

This season in the domestic league, the 199 cm-tall guard has averaged 3.4 points and 2 assists in 9.5 minutes per game. In the BKT EuroCup, he recorded 1.3 points and 1.2 assists per game.

Earlier, Wolves Twinsbet lost Matas Jogėla, Marek Blaževič, and Daniel Baslyk to long-term injuries.
