Wolves Twinsbet outfits feature works by artists from the capital city

Vilnius Wolves Twinsbet have unveiled their jerseys for the upcoming BKT EuroCup season, featuring an exclusive artwork-inspired design with fragments from four spectacular paintings that have adorned the walls of the Vilnius Open Gallery.

This design was chosen as part of the "From Streets to Court" concept, which aims to bring street culture to sports arenas. Three artists from Vilnius, Linas Kaziulionis, Agnė Juršytė, and Martynas Ivinskas, contributed to the project.

In an unusual move for Lithuanian basketball, the Wolves Twinsbet players' uniforms will appear similar at first glance, but keen observers will notice four distinct patterns.

"In preparation for the upcoming season, we wanted to try something different, something unique and unprecedented for us - game uniforms that are similar yet distinct. The idea is to merge two different cultures. This also gives us a great opportunity to represent our city by showcasing its special places. We're pleased that the Euroleague, supported this idea, allowing our players to wear these unique uniforms throughout the season," said Titas Servutas, the club's marketing project manager.

The jerseys of Mantas Jogėla, Kristupas Žemaitis, and Garrison Brooks will feature Linas Kaziulionis' work Mother of Festivals, created in 2017 at the Open Gallery. It has been named one of the gallery's favorite pieces by its visitors.

Arnoldas Kulbokas, Tre'Shawn Thurman, and Jeffery Taylor will wear jerseys adorned with fragments of Kaziulionis' Information Bubble, which symbolizes a society overwhelmed by information.

Team captain Regimantas Miniotas, Anthony Cowan, and Vaidas Kariniauskas will wear jerseys depicting Agnė Juršytė's Being Yourself, representing the courage to be authentic, fight for freedom, speak one's truth, and stand tall.

Three other players, Andrew Andrews, Daniel Baslyk, and Marek Blaževičius, will don jerseys featuring elements from Martynas Ivinskas' Citizen, which reflects Lithuania's freedom, its progress, and the courage of its people who fought for independence.

Fans will also have the chance to sport these designs, as a unique, limited edition collection of leisure T-shirts featuring elements from all four artists' works has been released.

The Wolves Twinsbet players have already embraced the exclusivity of these jerseys, with the collection quickly becoming a favourite among the team.
