Wolves Twinsbet Vilnius players will wear exclusive jerseys in an upcoming Betsafe-LKL game continuing a club tradition that has now entered its third year. Once again, young fans have played a key role in the jersey design, as the initiative highlights support for children battling serious illnesses.
As part of the Hoops with the Wolves project, students from local schools were invited to create posters for the team. Elements of their artwork have been incorporated into two special jersey designs - white and blue colors. Wolves team will wear one of these jerseys on April 19 in their third-round clash against Kaunas Žalgiris.
Fans across Lithuania will decide which color the team will wear for the game by voting in polls on the club’s social media channels.
Following the game, the signed jerseys will be auctioned off, with all proceeds donated to the Rimantas Kaukėnas Charity Foundation, which supports children fighting severe illnesses.
“This annual auction has become one of our most meaningful and beloved traditions. The opportunity to contribute and help those in need is an indescribable feeling. It’s also wonderful to see young fans actively engage with the team, using their artwork to support other children in need,” said Wolves Twinsbet Director Andrius Žiauberis.
The voting will remain open until March 5.
In the club’s debut season, Wolves Twinsbet players also wore jerseys featuring children's artwork. The unique design received outstanding feedback and became a highly sought-after collector’s item, helping raise nearly €4,000 in the auction.
The Wolves Twinsbet vs. Žalgiris matchup will take place on April 19 at Twinsbet Arena. Tickets are available via Bilietai.lt.
