Wolves Twinsbet's brand-new sport facility is opening soon

A hi-tech and advanced sports facility, built within the business district near Vilnius Airport, is set to open its doors to the Wolves Twinsbet team and the local community.

The brand-new facility can accommodate up to 1,350 spectators for sporting events, making it a reserve basketball arena for the Wolves. If needed, it will also be capable of hosting domestic league games.

"The feeling we have now, as the opening of the sports facility approaches, is indescribable because it will greatly contribute to the club’s and the team’s success. Without a doubt, it’s much more convenient. We are in the same city as our main arena, so there’s no need for constant travel. We can schedule our training times as needed and enjoy top-tier infrastructure. I would even say this is the highest level of infrastructure. The question is whether any sports facility in Lithuania surpasses this one," said Wolves Twinsbet Director Andrius Žiauberis, expressing his excitement ahead of the opening.

The new sports complex will be open to both the local community and business organizations. It will provide a convenient venue for hosting lower-division national championship games, various tournaments, and more. Additionally, the main basketball arena can easily be transformed into two smaller courts, offering everyone in the city the opportunity to train and compete in amateur basketball leagues.

"From the beginning, we stated that this facility wasn’t just for the club. It’s also for the Vilnius community. The city still lacks enough training spaces. We are already receiving a lot of inquiries about when the Vilnius community can start using this sports center. It won’t be exclusively for the club. Kids, local teams, and even business companies will have the opportunity to play here," said the club’s director.

In addition to the basketball arena, the complex will feature a modern gym equipped with the latest fitness equipment, allowing players to maintain and improve their physical condition, as well as recover more quickly from training sessions or injuries.

"Injuries are part of sports, and recovery is crucial. This infrastructure ensures quicker rehabilitation and injury prevention. Having everything in one place will significantly improve player recovery times," said Andrius Žiauberis.

The grand opening of the new training center is expected in early spring of this year.
