BC Wolves set to face off against BC Zalgiris in Citadele KMT Cup QF series

The quarterfinals draw for the Citadele King Mindaugas Cup (Citadele KMT) was recently held last Sunday and the four pairings for this season have finally been announced.

The draw proceedings were facilitated by Vaidas Vaškevičius, President of CBet Jonava, and Gintautas Matulis, Director of Utena Uniclub Casino – Juventus and it was decided that the following eight teams will compete in these face-offs for a place in the Citadele KMT final four:

            Kaunas "Žalgiris" - Vilnius "Wolves"

Vilnius "Rytas" - Utena "Uniclub Casino - Juventus"

Panevėžys "7bet-Lietkabelis" - Klaipėda "Neptūnas"

"CBet" Jonavas - "Šiauliai"

The final schedule of the quarter-final series will be announced at the beginning of next week. All matches for this round will be broadcast live by LRT Plus television.

The quarter-final stage will follow the usual format. All pairs will play two games against each other - at home and away. The second match will take place in the arena of the team of the first made basket. The team with the better difference in scored-missed points in each series will enter the final four.

The Citadele KMT Final Four will be held on February 17-18, 2024 and will be played at the Zalgiris arena in Kaunas.
