The BC Wolves have announced that Nedas Pacevičius, who has been the head coach of the Vilnius-based BC Wolves for three weeks, will be continuing his club designation. The 28-year-old basketball strategist will carry on helming the team until the end of the season.

During the time when the Wolves parted ways with former coach Kęstutis Kemzūra, the club flourished under the leadership of N. Pacevičius - who used to be an assistant in Kemzūra's staff. The new head coach steered the Lithuanian capital's club to five victories, logged one draw, and only lost once in the three tournaments that they have been playing in (the Betsafe-LKL, the BKT EuroCup, and the Citadele King Mindaugas Cup).

"In these few weeks, we have seen a change in the identity of the team. We appreciate the hard work and dedication of the coach, and we see his ideas in the team's game. We carefully evaluated the team's current situation and decided to work with Nedas until the end of this season," said Donatas Zavackas, Wolves' sports director.

After the approval of N. Pacevičius in the coaching role, there has also been another change in the Wolves coaching staff. Player development coach Isaac Jenkins left the club by mutual agreement. 

The BC Wolves club thanks the American mentor for his work and wishes him success in his future career.

The Wolves will return to local tournament action on March 2 as they play their next match in Telšiai versus M Basket-Delamode / BC Mazeikiai in the Betsafe-LKL.
