New date for postponed Hapoel Tel Aviv game was revealed

The previously postponed game of the BKT EuroCup Round 2 between the Vilnius Wolves and Hapoel Tel Aviv has been rescheduled and will now be played on January 3, 2024 in the Serbian capital of Belgrade.

Serbia is playing host to the Tel Aviv ball club following a military conflict in the Israel region after a large-scale terrorist attack that saw martial law being declared throughout the country.

EuroLeague Basketball has approved that Hapoel will play their home games at the Aleksandar Nikolic Arena in Belgrade. The decision was made after both the Belgrade Municipality and the Serbian government agreed to host the Israeli team with necessary security measures.

The Maccabi Tel Aviv club, which competes in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, has also been allowed to play its home matches in the same arena.

Hapoel are currently in 3rd place of the BKT EuroCup Group A, having won six of their eight matches. The Wolves are in 5th place with a 4-4 win-loss record.
